Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has appointed Matt Green as senior investment director and Jonathan Follows as senior investment manager.
The hires – both fellows of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment – will be based at CBAM’s flagship London office and help “bolster the firm’s bespoke offering”.
With nearly 15 years in wealth management, Matt began his career at Barclays Global Private Bank and later joined Investec Wealth and Investment. Specialising in delivering investment services to private clients, company directors, trustees and professional advisors, he played a key role in the firm’s investment process and served on various firm-wide investment committees.
Jonathan brings eight years of experience from Investec Wealth and Investment, specialising in crafting customised portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities, and pensions. Holding a sustainable finance qualification from the Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership, he joins CBAM to lead economic and market analysis, steering portfolio investment decisions and aiding in effectively communicating the team’s investment message to clients.
Nathanael Pinder, chief commercial officer at CBAM, said: “Their contributions will play a significant role in CBAM’s ongoing growth and commitment to delivering tailored financial management solutions for our clients.”
