UK-based Principal Asset Management has bolstered its European distribution team with the appointment of Daniel Maric as managing director and head of distribution for Austria and Germany.
Based in Munich, Maric will report to Tim Hill, head of US and European client group.
He will be responsible for leading the firm’s sales, client and consultancy efforts across all asset classes in the region.
Principal hires head of asset management
The appointment is a promotion for Maric who has been at Principal for three years, most recently as head of institutional sales, real estate, and infrastructure for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Prior to joining Principal, Maric spent two years at BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management in Germany.
“Since Daniel joined Principal, he has been instrumental in advancing our sales efforts across the business,” said Hill. “He brings a wealth of related experience to his new role and we are looking forward to working together to enhance our services in the region.”
