Fund flows for exchange-traded products (ETPs) set a new monthly and first-half record in June.
ETPs, which include ETFs, listed globally gathered a net US$63.57 billion (€54.52 billion) in June and $347.7 billion for the year to date.
The inflows coupled with market performance meant that money invested globally in ETPs reached $4.168 trillion, according to ETFGI figures.
Equity products gathered $41.15 billion in net inflows in June, another record, and this brought year-to-date net inflows into this category to $242.69 billion
iShares gathered the largest net ETF/ETP inflows in June with $28.83 billion, followed by Vanguard with $13.38 billion and SPDR ETFs with $6.68 billion net inflows.
