ETF provider WisdomTree has added more people to its Southern Europe business with the expansion of the Italian sales team.
Umberto Urso joins as an associate director and Andrea Moro joins as a senior associate, both based in Milan and reporting to Antonio Sidoti, head of Southern Europe distribution.
Urso joins WisdomTree from Shape Q BV, where he was co-founder. At Shape Q BV, he developed and launched the first business-to-business request-for-quote marketplace dedicated to green energy markets.
He also spent six years at Flow Traders prior to that, focused on institutional ETF trading.
Moro joins WisdomTree from Eurovita, where he spent five years, becoming head of alternative assets in 2020, analysing and selecting private asset funds. Prior to that, he was at Postevita, predominantly focusing on liquid assets.
WisdomTree now has a five-strong sales force based in Milan, with two members of its European research team also based in Milan.
In May, Carlos de Andrés joined WisdomTree’s Iberia sales team.
