Swiss private wealth manager Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) has appointed Tanja Boskovic as senior portfolio manager within its emerging market debt (EMD) team, effective March 2, 2026.
Boskovic joins the firm with extensive experience in emerging market fixed income and macro strategy. She previously spent 13 years at BlackRock within the global fixed income platform, including six years as portfolio manager and macro strategist specialising in emerging markets.
In that role, she managed benchmark EMD mandates and contributed to multi-asset investment strategies spanning hard currency, local rates and foreign exchange. She also held a research position focused on long-term structural themes, including sustainability and ESG integration.
Boskovic also worked at the World Bank, where she supported sovereign lending programmes and the development of local bond markets across emerging economies.
Her appointment is intended to support the continued development of UBP’s emerging market debt franchise and strengthen the firm’s capabilities in local currency investing.
