Paris-based asset management firm Tobam has appointed Frédéric Jamet as head of trading and co-head of research.
In the newly created post Jamet will be based in Paris, from where he will manage Tobam’s teams in Paris and Dublin.
As head of trading Jamet will supervise all trading activities within the firm’s equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and multi-asset strategies.
As co-head of research, he will oversee research development for the firm’s operational and portfolio management divisions.
Jamet has worked for 28 years in the asset management industry and joins from State Street Global Advisors France, where he had worked as head of investments for 11 years.
