Fund tokenisation comes under the spotlight at this year’s FundsTech Forum on April 29th, where we have a stellar line up of speakers on this and other subjects within the fund technology environment.
Robert Crossley will be a key speaker on our tokenisation panel. Crossley is head of digital asset and business advisory services at Franklin Templeton.
Back in 2021, Franklin Templeton launched the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund, which employs blockchain technology for transactions. The firm has said it has gained operational efficiencies through the use of a blockchain-integrated system, including increased security, faster transaction processing and reduced costs.
Crossley will be joined by Bill Gourlay, managing director, Independent Consultants Network; Olivier Fines, head of advocacy and capital markets policy research at CFA Institute; Laurent Majchrzak, group head of digital assets at Caceis; and Simon Keefe, head of digital solutions at Calastone.
The panel is entitled ‘The transformative power of tokenisation’. Delegates at FundsTech will hear that the future of blockchain and tokenisation has firmly arrived, even if their a still hurdles to cross in order to create a fully token-powered industry.
