Joseph Pinto, the chief executive of M&G Asset Management, will give a headline interview at this April’s FundsTech Forum, the all-day London technology & transformation conference of Funds Europe.
With 30 years of experience in asset management, financial services, and consulting, Pinto joined M&G in March 2023 and previously worked at Natixis Investment Managers as head of distribution and Investment solutions for Emea, APAC and Latin America, and global chief operating officer.
Prior to that he was with AXA Investment Managers for 13 years, including as global chief operating officer, as well as global head of markets & investment strategy and head of business development for South Europe and the Middle East.
In line with the wider FundsTech Forum, our interview will cover digital transformation, operational efficiencies and broader technological change, as well as gain Pinto’s views on the state of asset management today.
FundsTech Forum (see agenda here) is in its second year and features panels of senior industry leaders who will discuss topics including tokenisation and AI. There will also be a focus on core technology issues including transfer agency and a special panel on how technologists might gain the support of the all-important chief operating officers in order to effect complex and costly change.
