Russell Investments has launched its Emerging Market Debt Local Currency Fund with a two-manager structure.
Stone Harbor Investment Partners and Pictet Asset Management will manage the Dublin-based fund.
Russel says the two managers have initially been selected for their strong expertise in the area and their complementary styles.
A statement says that the new fund gives investors access to local currency emerging market debt and a market that offers not only higher yields than developed markets but also the potential for currency appreciation.
