Asset manager Pantheon, which manages $46.3 billion (€42.2 billion) in assets, has appointed John Eggleston as partner and chief technology officer, replacing Paul Jones who left the firm earlier in the year.
The London-headquartered firm has also created a new role – global head of recruitment – to be filled by Richard Berke.
Eggleston joins from BGF plc, a £2.5 billion investment company, where he was member of the executive and investment committees. He began his career in technology in 1996.
At Pantheon, Eggleston will be responsible for core technology infrastructure, information security and systems development.
Fellow hire Berke joins from Insight Investment where he was head of resourcing.
