Northern Trust Asset Management has hired Julie Moret as global head of sustainable investing and stewardship.
The role is newly created and Moret joins from Franklin Templeton, where she was global head of ESG.
Based in London, Moret will build up Northern Trust’s ESG capability, including research and product development, and engagement polices.
According to Northern Trust, while at Franklin Templeton, Moret built out a “foundational data infrastructure platform and wove ESG considerations into the investment process”.
