BlackRock has partnered with PCG Impact, the advisory arm of Amsterdam-based Phenix Capital Group, to expand its impact investing offerings for institutional clients.
The collaboration combines BlackRock’s portfolio construction, implementation, risk management and oversight capabilities with PCG Impact’s research covering over 3,000 impact fund managers globally, as well as its advisory and reporting services.
The offering is aimed at institutional investors, including pension funds, family offices, endowments and foundations. It will be available through outsourced chief investment officer portfolios as well as customised impact mandates.
According to the Global Impact Investing Network, the global impact investing market is valued at around $1.6 trillion.

Under the collaboration, clients will be able to access a range of impact investment opportunities through a single framework supported by BlackRock’s Aladdin risk management platform.
