London-based asset manager M&G has appointed Shawn Gamble as chief risk and compliance officer.
Subject to regulatory approval, Gamble will join the business in 2025 reporting to M&G CEO Andrea Rossi, and will sit on the group’s executive committee.
Gamble joins M&G from Hargreaves Lansdown, where she’s currently the group chief risk officer.
She was previously chief risk officer at Fidelity International, and prior to that held a number of senior leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, Barclays and GE Capital.
Canadian born Gamble hold an Economics and English degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Ivey Business School. She will replace Louise Gelling, who has been working as interim CRCO.
As of 31 December 2023, M&G had £343.5 billion of assets under management and administration.
