Luxembourg’s Alter Domus in France expansion

Alter Domus, a Luxembourg-based private equity and real estate fund services provider, has launched a dedicated offering into the French market.

The firm, which plans to launch depositary services in Luxembourg and the UK in response to the Alternative Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), currently operates also in the Channel Islands.

Laurent Vanderweyen, chief executive officer, says: “France is a critical market with huge potential for Alter Domus to extend its offer to our clients, building on the success of our current platforms in the Channel Islands and Luxembourg. The establishment of such operations is fully in line with our firm’s strategy to vertically integrate our value proposition and allow our clients access to local services and expertise.”
