Loomis Sayles & Company has hired an eight-strong European credit team formerly of Kempen Capital Management and is launching three strategies.
The team, which is based in Utrecht, Netherlands, is led by Rik den Hartog and Pim van Mourik Broekman as head portfolio managers.
The three strategies are available for institutions as separately managed accounts and are called Loomis Sayles Euro Investment Grade Credit, Loomis Sayles Euro Sustainable Investment Grade Credit and Loomis Sayles Euro High Yield.
Also in the team as portfolio managers are Luuk Cummins, Sipke Moes, Quirijn Landman, Marco Zanotto and Ronald Schep. Jeroen Potma is product manager.
Loomis Sayles said the team takes an active engagement approach with bond issuers and uses their investor influence to shape corporate behaviours.
