Kames Capital, the London and Edinburgh-based specialist investment management business, has appointed Adrian Hull to join its expanding fixed income team.
Hull joins Kames Capital as a fixed income product specialist. He will work closely with fund managers and the institutional and retail sales teams in continuing to develop the company’s fixed income offering and presence in the UK and Continental European markets.
Hull has 20 years of experience in fixed income markets, most recently as head of sterling trading and sales at Mizuho International, the London based securities and investment banking arm of Mizuho Securities, where he established a sterling corporate bond trading and sales desk.
He previously held the same role as head of sterling trading and sales at financial services company Nomura International.
Hull will report to David Roberts, head of fixed income at Kames Capital, which manages £52 billion (€62 billion) on behalf of UK and international clients.
Roberts says: “The position of fixed income product specialist is a new role for Kames Capital and one that is aimed at strategically bridging the role of the fund manager and the sales teams, as we look to develop our fixed income proposition in UK and increasingly in Europe.
