Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg is set to enhance its role as a central hub for corporate banking in Europe by integrating its Irish subsidiary, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Ireland.
The strategic move aims to consolidate the group’s international corporate banking operations within Luxembourg, which has long served as a competence centre for the bank.
The integration process is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, after which the Irish subsidiary will cease operations. It is unclear whether any jobs will remain in the group’s Dublin office following the integration.
