Four people have recently joined Hermes Investment Management as the British Telecom pension fund-owned asset manager expands its sales, client relationships and services teams.
Antoinette Eltz becomes a director in client relationship management to work across several distribution channels with a Europe focus. She joined from Twelve Capital, where she was a senior sales director.
Thomas Shuttlewood, formerly of Fidelity Worldwide Investment, is now a client service manager across segregated and pooled fund clients.
Dan Churchouse joins the UK wholesale team as associate director and previously worked at Kames Capital as a business development manager.
Siman Thind joined the UK institutional team earlier this year, the firm said, in the role of associate director with responsibility for increasing third-party assets from UK institutional investors. She had spent eleven years at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in business development and institutional sales roles.
Hermes, which has £30.8 billion (€35 billion) of assets under management and a strong focus on responsible investment and corporate governance, said it was seeing growing interest from investors.
Harriet Steel, global head of business development, said Hermes had gone through a “transformation” over the past five years, increasing third-party revenues from less than 20% to 67%, with underlying profits of £15.5 million in 2016.
