US-based PGIM Investments, which is part of Prudential Financial, has expanded its Ucits platform to five more countries, bringing the number of countries where its funds are available to institutional investors and cross-border institutions to 14.
The new countries in which PGIM has registered its funds are France, Italy, Luxembourg, Singapore and Spain.
The company launched its Ucits-compliant products in Europe in 2013, since when it now has 24 funds with total assets of $2.1 billion (€1.9 billion), as of March 31, 2017 – up 75% since March 2016.
PGIM Investments is the retail distribution arm of PGIM Inc, the $1 trillion global investment business of Prudential Financial.
PGIM Funds Plc is the firm’s Ireland-domiciled Ucits umbrella fund serving institutional investors.
