GAM has appointed Paul Markham as the new head of its global growth equities team.
Markham, who brings 25 years of experience from Newton Investment Management, will also lead the disruptive growth teams at GAM.
During his tenure at Newton, he was integral to the expansion of their global equity franchise and managed various asset classes and strategies.
Markham is set to replace Mark Hawtin, with a transition period planned to ensure a smooth handover.
He will join GAM in February, bringing his expertise in global equities portfolio management.
