California-based asset manager Franklin Templeton has promoted Harry Reeves to the position of head of UK wholesale. Reporting into Andrew Ashton, head of UK, Reeves will be responsible for driving growth and development within the expanded UK wholesale channel.
In his new role, Harry will oversee private banks, global financial institutions, strategic accounts, and managed portfolio services channels, in addition to his current responsibilities overseeing wholesale sales activities in the UK market.
Ashton said: “With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Harry has consistently demonstrated robust expertise in sales and client relationship management. This promotion recognises his strong leadership skills and ongoing contributions to the UK business. This role will be key in driving our strategic initiatives in the wholesale channel and ensuring that we are well-positioned to capitalise on the diverse growth opportunities in the UK market.”
Reeves joined Franklin Templeton in 2020 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Legg Mason and was most recently head of UK wholesale sales. He has previously worked at Neptune Investment Management and has also held positions at Artemis Investment Management and Ruffer LLP.
