Zurich-based Fisch Asset Management has added three portfolio managers to its emerging markets team.
Thomas Rutz has assumed the role of co-head of emerging markets. He has more than 25 years of experience in emerging markets and previously headed up the emerging markets corporates team at MainFirst Asset Management, a role he held since 2012.
Rutz was also CEO of MainFirst Affiliated Fund Managers (Switzerland) AG, prior to which he was head of the emerging markets division at Clariden Leu.
Dimitris Nteventzis has joined Fisch as a portfolio manager on the emerging markets team. Before joining Fisch, he was a portfolio manager on the emerging markets team at MainFirst, having initially joined the business as a portfolio analyst in 2017.
Nteventzis started his career as a research analyst on the EEMEA cross asset strategy and economics desk at Merrill Lynch in London.
Tanja Kusterer has also joined Fisch as a portfolio manager on the emerging markets team. She is a CFA charterholder and has a master’s in accounting and finance from the University of St. Gallen, which she gained prior to joining the corporate business development team at Bank Vontobel in 2015.
From there she joined the emerging markets team at MainFirst in 2020, where she worked until joining Fisch earlier this year.
