EY has appointed Martina Keane as its UK & Ireland financial services leader.
Keane will takes over the role next month from Anna Anthony, who has led the UK financial services business since 2021 and will become EY’s UK & Ireland Regional Managing Partner from 1 January 2025.
In her new role Keane will lead more than 300 Partners and 6,000 staff, with responsibility for some of the firm’s largest clients globally, and will join EY’s global financial services leadership Team. As well as her new leadership responsibilities, she will continue to focus on her portfolio of clients.
Keane joined EY in 1998 and has been a Partner since 2009. She is currently EY’s EMEIA Financial Services Chief Operating Officer, a position she has held since September 2021, and is a member of the EY EMEIA Financial Services Regional Leadership Board. Prior to this role, she was EY’s Ireland Financial Services Assurance Leader.
