French funds giant Amundi has appointed Joseph El Gharib as director of Amundi Services.
In the new position El Gharib will work on the development of the firm’s services platform.
He most recently worked for management consultancy Capco France, where he was in charge of asset management, insurance, securities and market infrastructures.
El Gharib has previously worked at France Telecom and CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation), a consulting, solutions and IT services company where he became partner in charge of the asset management market.
In his new post, El Gharib will report to Guillaume Lesage, Amundi’s chief operational officer and director of the operations, services and technology division.
