Columbia Threadneedle Investments has appointed Bárbara Echazarra as sales manager in its Madrid office.
Echazarra has over seven years’ experience in financial markets and most recently worked for Paris-based Carmignac for whom she was account director for Spain.
She has previously worked at BNP Paribas and Louis Vuitton.
Echazarra holds a business and administration degree and is currently studying for a master’s degree in portfolio management.
In her new role she will join existing sales managers Alberto González Méndez and Carlos Moreno and will report to Rubén García Páez, head of Iberia and Latin American distribution.
