Columbia Threadneedle Investments has appointed Eva Maria Hintner, formerly of Aviva Investors, to be country head for Switzerland.
Based in Zurich, Hintner will be responsible for developing business relationships with distribution partners, as well as offering investment products and solutions to institutional and wholesale clients.
At Aviva Investors she was most recently head of wholesale for Switzerland, managing key client relationships and development.
Before that, Hinter spent five years at Amundi Asset Management as senior client relationship manager in Zurich.
She will report to Gary Collins, regional head of distribution at the firm.
Columbia Threadneedle recently created new roles in Austria and Spain as part of its plan to increase its presence in Europe.
Over the past couple of years, the fund manager has made around 20 appointments in Europe.
