Climate risk financial data provider Climate X has hired Manuel Vicente as vice president of commercial strategy.
Vicente will spearhead the company’s efforts to integrate climate risk technology and analysis into global financial strategies.
In a career spanning 25+ years, Vicente has led international operations, directing climate change strategy, IBOR reform, Brexit and the impacts of geopolitical events.
Highlighting the complex needs of the financial services industry – from getting the right data to implementing enterprise-wide solutions across different stakeholders – Vicente added that his new role will entail helping Climate X lead the way in “redefining climate risk analysis, shaping the future of resilience and defining new investment opportunities”.
