US equity manager ClearBridge Investments has appointed James Arnold to the newly created role of London-based business development manager.
Arnold joins ClearBridge from Goodhart Partners where he worked as a sales director.
At Goodhart Arnold focused on pan-European sales and marketing and represented the firm’s global equity, Japanese equity, emerging markets equity and UK investment strategies.
Arnold, a graduate in history and economics, has previously held sales and client services positions at Artisan Partners, Janus Capital, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
