Frankfurt-based asset manager Allianz Global Investors has appointed Bjoern Jesch as Chief Product Officer.
In the newly-created role, Jesch will lead Product Solutions & Marketing at AllianzGI with executive responsibility for ensuring the firm’s product offering and market positioning.
Based in Frankfurt, Bjoern will join the company next month and become a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, reporting to Tobias Pross, CEO of Allianz Global Investors.
Bjoern brings over three decades of diverse industry experience to the job, having held senior leadership roles in portfolio management, product management and solutions during his career to-date.
Previously, he worked for DWS Group, where he was most recently Global CIO and CEO of DWS Switzerland. Prior to that he was Global Head of Multi Asset & Solutions and Chief Investment Officer EMEA at DWS Group.
