Axa Investment Managers has appointed an emerging Asia economist, based in Hong Kong, who will be responsible for economic research and market analysis of the region.
Qi Sun joins from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and will be part of the Research and Investment Strategy team, led by Eric Chaney.
“Qi has deep knowledge of the region and is a valuable addition to our research capability,” says Chaney.
Qi will report to Franz Wenzel, chief strategist at Axa IM, who is based in Paris.
