RQI Investors, an Australia-based quantitative equities manager, is launching a European and UK business.
The launch coincides with the firm’s 15 year anniversary after launching in Australia in 2008, originally as Realindex Investments.
The firm has since been acquired by First Sentier Investors Group.

RQI specialises in active strategies across global equities, emerging markets and global small companies.
The launch of the European business means RQI will be promoting its strategies to wholesale and institutional clients in Europe for the first time.
Since its 2008 launch, RQI Investors has grown its assets under management to €17.7 billion while its team has grown to 17 members.
“We firmly believe we provide a compelling offer for European clients, complementing existing First Sentier Investors strategies in the EMEA region,” said Andrew Francis, chief executive of RQI Investors.
