Alter Domus, a specialist fund administrator, has appointed Spencer Wells (pictured) to head its UK office.
The appointment is internal, with Wells previously heading Channel Islands and acting as country executive for Jersey.
Staff from Cortland Capital Markets, which Alter Domus acquired earlier this year, have also joined the London office.
Alter Domus said the UK is one of its key strategic locations for growth and for developing an international client base.
The firm also announced the appointment of Matthew Molton as head of operations UK. Molton was previously at M&G Real Estate.
Also, Karan Dutta was recently promoted to transfer pricing director.
