Winterflood Securities has hired alternatives specialist Shayan Ratnasingam to join its investment companies research team.
Ratnasingam arrives at the UK stockbroker after a spell as co-investment manager of the Diversified Real Assets fund at Liontrust Asset Management.
He was responsible for researching the real estate and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on healthcare, logistics and infrastructure companies in the renewable generation and storage sectors. Prior to this, he was an investment analyst at Architas, which he joined from Aon.
In his new role, Ratnasingam will work within Winterflood’s investment companies research team and head up its investment trust coverage of alternative investment companies.
