UK-based investment consultant Redington has been retained by Wiltshire Pension Fund (WPF) as its strategic investment adviser.
The renewal will see Redington support the pension fund on all areas of investment strategy, including its sustainable and impact investing ambitions.
Wiltshire Pension Fund is part of the Local Government Pension Scheme and currently serves around 85,000 members with roughly £3.5 billion in assets under management.
“Philosophical alignment between asset owners such as WPF and their investment advisers and managers is critical to ensuring meaningful impact and sustainability is embedded at every stage of the investment process,” said Jennifer Devine, head of WPF.
“We look forward to working together on the upcoming investment strategy review and the implementation of the Fund’s responsible investment plan, particularly regarding how we will invest in nature positive assets and continue to build on our UK impact.”
