Frankfurt-based AI-focused asset manager Tungsten Trycon has appointed Nicholas Bennett, former EMEA CEO of Wells Fargo Securities Europe, as a senior consultant.
Bennett will support the strategic expansion of sales activities in the United Kingdom as an external advisor through his advisory firm. He will report to Michael Günther and Pablo Hess, both founders and AI developers of the firm.
He will provide strategic advisory services to the firm, acting as a local contact for institutional investors, distribution partners and intermediaries in the UK. His role will include guiding direct sales processes and expanding UK distribution across institutional and wholesale segments, including family offices, wealth managers, private banks, and fund-of-funds.
He has over 30 years of expertise in corporate and investment banking as well as asset management, holding senior leadership roles at institutions including Wells Fargo.
“The UK is the most important market for liquid alternatives in Europe. With Nicholas Bennett’s mandate, we will now be able to position our AI-based strategies even more proactively towards institutional investors. We are delighted to welcome Nicholas Bennett to our team”, said Michael Günther.
“AI is fundamentally changing investment management. Its innovative application in liquid alternatives marks an exciting new phase for the industry. Tungsten Trycon leverages these technologies to deliver long-term value for clients. I’m excited to be working together”, adds Nicholas Bennett.
