New Mexico-based Thornburg Investment Management has opened an office in the City of London from which to serve clients in the Emea region (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
In addition, the $47bn asset manager has hired two London-based industry veterans, Jon Dawson and Cornelia Sanders, to help grow the firm’s business in the region.
Thornburg was founded and is headquartered in Santa Fe, with offices in Hong Kong and now London.
Dawson will serve as the director of UK/EMEA business development and head of the UK office while Sanders will serve as the head of international marketing.
Both report to Jonathan Schuman, head of international, and will be based in the new Throgmorton Street office.
