Standard Life Investments (SLI) has teamed up with John Hancock Mutual Funds to make its GARS [Global Absolute Return Strategies] Fund available to the United States retail market.
The fund is named John Hancock Global Absolute Return Strategies Fund and is placed in the Speciality Fund Category with Standard Life Investments providing portfolio management services as sub-adviser. The new fund will be offered both as a stand-alone member of the John Hancock family of retail funds, and will also be a component of the John Hancock Alternative Asset Allocation fund as well as several of the John Hancock Lifestyle funds.
