Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has appointed Matthew Davey to the newly-created role of head of coverage, marketing and solutions (CMS) for the UK.
Based in London, Davey was internally appointed. He reports to global head of CMS, Christophe Baurand, and head of SGSS UK, Bertrand Blanchard.
His previous role was head of business solutions. As UK head of CMS he is responsible for implementing and driving the firm’s growth in the country.
Davey has over 25 years’ experience in the securities services industry.
He began his career at J.P. Morgan as a business analyst, and has also worked at State Street Bank & Trust and HSBC.
