Technology and investment solution provider SEI has appointed David Hinton as chief operating officer of SEI Investments (Europe) Limited (SIEL).
Hinton will report to Jim London, CEO of SIEL, pending regulatory approval. He will manage SIEL’s operations, technology and the delivery of services.
Hinton most recently served as deputy COO for FNZ Group, managing strategic platform operations. Before this, he held many leadership roles at Barclays, including business banking lending CIO, head of wealth and investment management operations and the head of platform and service management.
Highlighting the importance of “capitalising on opportunities driving that next chapter of growth for our clients and company in the UK”, Hinton commented: “Expectations for a more connected experience are a key driver of the financial services industry’s evolution globally.
