Schroders is to launch a fund investing in US large caps, the Schroder US Alpha Plus fund.
Joanna Shatney, the head of US large cap equities, will manage the new product, which is scheduled for launch on December 14.
Shatney will build a concentrated portfolio of up to 50 stocks, with no bias to a particular industry. Benchmarked against the S&P 500 index, the fund aims for capital growth.
She manages two other products for the group: the Schroder ISF US Large Cap and Schroder ISF US All Cap funds.
