Evergreen funds are a transformative development in the cross-border funds industry, allowing a broader range of investors to access private markets – which have generally outperformed traditional public markets over the last three decades.
Private market funds have become particularly popular since the 2008–09 global financial crisis, as investors seek to benefit from the higher returns often found in private markets.
In partnership with fund administrator Citco, Funds Europe has conducted a survey of 161 industry leaders to assess sentiment and the state of planning towards evergreen funds, and how fund managers perceive the complexities, risks, and opportunities of creating, managing and distributing evergreen funds.
