RBC BlueBay Asset Management, representing RBC Global Asset Management outside of North America, has launched a Ucits strategy focused on the US high-yield bond market.
The fund, BlueBay US High Yield Bond Fund, is based on the firm’s existing US-domiciled strategy.
The strategy will invest across the US high-yield bond universe, identifying income opportunities through top-down and bottom-up research. It also credit analysis to spot value opportunities while focusing on risk management, shared the asset manager.
Investor demand for income-focused strategies are on the rise amid higher interest rates and uncertainty over the direction of monetary policy, it added.
The fund will be managed by RBC BlueBay’s US fixed income team.
