Principal Global Investors is to launch the Edge Equity Income fund, which will be managed by its affiliate Edge Asset Management.
The Dublin registered Ucits-compliant fund aims to provide income, targeting dividend-paying US large-cap companies with a market capitalisation of above $7 billion (€5.5 billion).
Dan Coleman, head of equities and portfolio manager of the fund, said: “The Edge Equity Income Fund aims to identify high quality, attractively valued and well managed companies with the potential to grow their dividend over time to give investors access to a long-term, sustainable income stream and capital growth.”
