Premier Asset Management has appointed Helene Winch to the newly-created position of head of responsible investing.
Joining from HSBC Global Asset Management – where she was a senior responsible investment adviser – Winch’s role will entail overseeing Premier’s responsible investment strategy and integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into strategies.
Winch has over 20 years of industry experience, including in responsible investing.
“The asset management industry is at an important point in ESG criteria as a core part of how it operates and invests on behalf of clients,” said chief investment officer Neil Birrell.
Winch is expected to start at the Guildford-headquartered asset manager in September this year.
