Pictet Asset Management has added to its total return fund range by launching an emerging market fixed income strategy.
The Pictet TR-Sirius fund is a liquid global macro emerging market long-short fixed income fund which will invest in a wide range of emerging market sovereign bonds, interest rates and currencies with the aim of generating alpha in all market conditions.
The strategy is being offered externally for the first time having been led and managed internally from London for the last three years by Ketan Gada.
“This strategy testifies to our continued innovation and commitment to emerging markets and the expansion of our total return fixed income franchise,” says fixed income chief investment officer Raymond Sagayam.
“This strategy will offer investors participation in the advantages of emerging markets with lower volatility.”
The Ucits IV compliant fund has weekly liquidity and daily pricing and is registered for sale in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
