London-based Pacific Asset Management has appointed Will Thompson as portfolio manager to focus on its multi-asset socially-responsible investing (SRI) funds.
A multi-asset ESG specialist, Thompson joins Pacific from HSBC Global Asset Management where he has worked as a senior portfolio manager on the multi-asset team since 2014.
The appointment brings Pacific’s SRI team to five specialists.
Pacific’s chief executive Matthew Lamb said: “We believe that in years to come all investment will be sustainable without the need for separate ESG buckets and we want to be at the forefront of how that is implemented.
“Will brings huge experience of ESG multi-asset investing and will build on the very strong track record of our existing SRI funds, offering institutional-quality ESG investment management to the retail market.”
