Ben Bobroff, global head of digital solutions consulting, Northern Trust, will join the panel ‘AI as Your Next Best Colleague?’ at FundsTech Forum 2025 to be held on April 29 in London.
This panel ( see full agenda here) will explore what it means to work alongside AI in asset management, examining real-world use cases such as automation and predictive analytics. Panellists will also discuss the cultural and operational shifts AI adoption requires, including whether AI can be trusted for asset allocation decisions. Attendees will gain practical insights on integrating AI into teams and defining the next steps toward more transformative AI-driven solutions.
Ben leads Northern Trust’s Digital Solutions Consulting Group globally, focusing on delivering data and digital solutions that support clients’ investment decision-making, oversight, and governance. His work spans areas such as data strategy, advanced analytics, and the integration of both Northern Trust and third-party technology solutions to help clients navigate an increasingly complex investment landscape.
Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2019, Ben held senior roles at BlackRock, where he was UK sales director for Unit Linked & Platforms, overseeing strategic insurance clients and digital direct-to-consumer platforms. Before that, Ben was at J.P. Morgan, serving as Europe, Middle East and Africa’s head of technology sales for investor services, where he led technology sales strategy and client engagement. He also drove the Global Institutional Pension Fund strategy, developing innovative product solutions for pension clients.
Ben’s earlier career includes eight years of distinguished service as a Captain in the British Army, where he served as a bomb disposal officer. He holds a BSc (hons) in cognitive science from the University of Exeter.
