Northern Trust’s asset servicing arm has reshuffled roles in London in a move essentially giving extra responsibilities to certain managers, such as Penelope Biggs (pictured).
Biggs becomes chief strategy officer within corporate & institutional services (C&IS) but will also continue to lead global marketing for the institutional business.
Toby Glaysher becomes head of global fund services international. He already covered Northern Trust’s institutional business in Europe, Middle East, Africa (Emea), and now takes on Asia Pacific in the more senior role.
Meanwhile, Clive Bellows becomes head of global fund services Emea, but also retains his role as Ireland country head.
A further change is for Jon Dunham, currently head of Americas sales, and now head of global sales for C&IS.
Robert Frazer, previously head of UK pensions for the institutional business, has taken on the role of country head, Middle East, based in Abu Dhabi.
The appointments are directly related to senior leadership changes in January, which saw Peter Cherecwich become C&IS president.
Funds Europe understands that no roles have been replaced.
As of December 31 last year Northern Trust had assets under custody of $6.7 trillion (€6.3 trillion) and assets under management of $942 billion.
