Nomura Asset Management has appointed Nick Henderson as head of global sustainable equities and lead portfolio manager of its Global Sustainable Equity Strategy, including its Ireland-domiciled Global Sustainable Equity Fund.
Henderson will be based in London and report into Richard Kruse, managing director and head of global equities for Nomura Asset Management UK.
Nomura AM UK’s global equity team currently manages sustainable equity portfolios with assets under management of around USD 1bn (as of 31st December 2025) for a mix of institutional and wholesale clients.
Alongside Henderson, Benjamin Lacaille will continue in his role as co-portfolio Manager, whilst Daniela Dorelova will remain the team’s dedicated sustainable investment specialist and also assume co-portfolio manager responsibilities.

Henderson most recently served as director in the global equities team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he was lead portfolio manager of the CT Sustainable Global Equity Income Strategy and co-portfolio manager of the CT Responsible Global Equity Strategy.
He joins Nomura AM UK with 17 years of experience working on responsible investment strategies, and joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments via their acquisition of the Emea assets of BMO Global Asset Management.
