Thomas Richter (pictured, left), the chief executive of the German funds industry association BVI, won last year’s European Personality of the Year award. Funds Europe would like to hear your nominations for the 2023 title.
The award for Richter in 2022 highlighted the critical role that trade bodies play in the funds industry, helping to shape UK and EU policy.
Richter was nominated for his leadership and for repeatedly embracing difficult and thorny issues that affect the funds industry and its clients, including the integrity of investor information and the high costs of market data.
Funds Europe would now like to hear nominations for this year’s award from you, the readers. The award will be presented at this years’ ceremony at the Tower of London on November 2.
